BeamScout is designed to let visitors research products without creating an account or submitting personal information directly to the site.
Information handled by the site
Shortlists and comparison selections may be maintained in the visitor’s browser for the current experience. BeamScout does not currently offer user accounts, payment processing, or a newsletter signup.
Analytics
BeamScout uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and engagement, including pages viewed, general device and location information, traffic sources, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits. BeamScout uses this information to improve the website and does not sell it.
Email communications
If you contact BeamScout by email, the email address and information you provide are used to review and respond to your message, investigate a reported problem, or discuss an inquiry. Messages are handled through the email provider and are not sold to third parties.
Hosting and basic technical data
The hosting platform and normal internet infrastructure may process information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, and pages requested for security, reliability, and aggregate usage measurement.
Outbound links
When a visitor follows a manufacturer, retailer, or review link, that destination’s privacy policy applies. Affiliate links may include referral identifiers, and the destination may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a qualifying purchase.
Future changes
If BeamScout later adds accounts, forms, a newsletter, or personalized advertising, this policy will be updated before those features are made available.
